Brighter Heights Maine is seeking Personal Support Specialists to provide in-home care for adults across Maine, including Pittsfield, Dexter and Exeter. The role offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and on-site training, with pay ranging $16.50–$18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow Plan of Care including personal care tasks as needed.
• Ensure client safety and proper use of equipment.
• Observe changes and report to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain and submit required agency documentation.

We are seeking PSS staff for clients in:

Pittsfield: 11.75 hours over 4 days

Dexter: 25 hours over 7 days

Exeter: 16.25 hours over 5 days

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

We provide services for adults throughout the state, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity in a setting where they are most comfortable- their own homes. People caring for their own family members in many areas of Maine may be paid for their caregiving!

Overview:

Provides direct care home health services to meet the client's personal needs, promote the client's comfort, and create a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Following Plan of Care which may include personal care which may include feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, and other services
• Meets safety needs of patients/clients and using equipment safely and property
• Observes and reports changes in the condition and needs of the client to the supervisor.
• Maintains and submits documents as required by agency policy and regulatory requirements.
