Brighter Heights Maine is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Specialist to provide in-home care across Maine. The role focuses on helping adults maintain independence in their own homes, with weekend shifts totaling 9.25 hours.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and documenting care. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required; mileage is reimbursed and paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow Plan of Care including personal care tasks and mobility assistance.
• Meet safety needs of clients and use equipment safely.
• Observes and reports changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Maintains and submits documents as required by agency policy and regulatory requirements.

9.25 hours a week on weekends- Saturday 4.5 hours and Sunday 4.75 hours

We are looking for caring, compassionate, energetic team players to join us as a Personal Support Specialist. We provide services for adults throughout the state, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity in a setting where they are most comfortable-their own homes. People caring for their own family members in many areas of Maine may be paid for their caregiving! Rate range is from $16.50-$18.00/hr.

Overview:

Provides direct care home health services to meet the client's personal needs, promote the client’s comfort, and create a safe and clean environment.
