Brighter Heights Maine is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Specialist to provide in-home care for adults across Maine. You will deliver services in clients' own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity in a familiar setting.

You will follow care plans, assist with activities of daily living, monitor client well-being, and maintain accurate documentation while promoting safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Follow Plan of Care which may include personal care such as feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, and other services
• Meets safety needs of clients and uses equipment safely
• Observes and reports changes in client condition to supervisor
• Maintains and submits required documents per agency policy and regulatory requirements

We need a PSS for a client in Canaan, 23.5 hours over 7 days

We are looking for caring, compassionate, energetic team players to join us as a Personal Support Specialist. We provide services for adults throughout the state, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity in a setting where they are most comfortable- their own homes. People caring for their own family members in many areas of Maine may be paid for their caregiving! Rate range is from $16.50-$18.00/hr.

Overview:

Provides direct care home health services to meet the client's personal needs, promote the client’s comfort, and create a safe and clean environment.
