Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Texas seeks a Curbside Lead to oversee online order assembly and lead department staff. You’ll ensure accurate picking, orderly storage, and smooth pickup by customers.

You will supervise associates, handle customer inquiries, and maintain a clean, safe curbside area to support a fast-paced shopping experience. You will stay current on product knowledge and safety standards, manage checkout efficiency, and train teammates to uphold exceptional service and sales

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 1+ year of related experience.
• Must be 18+; 21+ in Louisiana for driving responsibilities.
• Certification requirements where applicable (TABC/LACT/AATC).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to learn new technology systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation of orders received online and ensures accurate picking for curbside pickup.
• Provides friendly customer service and assists customers with questions and complaints.
• Maintains product knowledge and food safety standards to ensure quality and freshness.
• Ensures accurate checkout totals and proper item handling during pickup.
• Maintains documentation related to curbside procedures and safety.
• Promotes sales through suggestive selling and supports performance goals.
• Trains and leads department personnel to maintain high standards.
