MR PORTER is seeking an associate for Personal Shopping and client services in the Los Angeles area. You will strive to hit monthly and yearly sales targets, grow the EIP client base, and build relationships with high-value customers in the AM region.

• Strong commercial awareness in luxury fashion.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

• Strive to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets and KPIs as set by the PS Management team.

• Optimise every opportunity to grow your EIPcustomer base and acquire new high value clients EIP Clients.

• Proactively target and build personal relationships with high value customers in the AM region

• Provide customer insight reports to buying, merchandising and marketing teams upon request.

• Profile customers individually based on their shopping patterns

• Assess client requirements through market research and analysis of shopping patterns and trends

• Provide personal styling recommendations by demonstrating detailed product knowledge and understanding of customers’ fashion and lifestyle preferences

• Ensure that sales leads are identified and prioritised by analysing your customer list

• Increase the spend of individuals and develop customer loyalty by understanding their needs

• Ensure prompt follow up with customers acquired through events and partnerships

• Drive and conduct one-on-one appointments with clients wherever possible to develop relationships

• Optimise every opportunity to grow the customer base and acquire new high value client

• Maintain a self-driven awareness of fashion industry, brands/products, and cultural awareness for clients based across different regions

• Identify customers’ shopping patterns and trends, provide feedback to your seniors and follow up with the relevant strategy

• Work alongside the wider business to understand key trends and increase business acumen

• Participate in Client Relations, marketing, and partnership events as required

• Identify opportunities for client outreach, events, and activations and providing insights for marketing campaigns

• Communicate customer trends to internal teams

• Recommend marketing and sales strategies to engage EIPs (Extremely Important Persons)

The type of person we are looking for:

• Degree educated in a relevant subject area

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or sales roles including eCommerce, preferably in luxury fashion and with Personal Shopping and/or client service experience

• Proven experience within a sales target driven environment, achieving personal sales goals

• Excellent communication, customer service and inter-personal skills, with confidence to network and build genuine relationships with customers

• Strong commercial awareness in luxury fashion

• An eye for detail and good organisational skills is essential

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Results driven and motivated attitude

• Computer literate (usage of CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, such as Outlook and Excel)
