Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking Personal Services Assistants (PSAs) to provide hands-on care and support to our senior residents in Summerville, SC. If you are compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to meaningful work in senior living, we want to meet you.

You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, light housekeeping, and documentation while following safety and infection control guidelines. Training is provided, and we offer competitive benefits to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Caregiver, CNA, or senior living experience is preferred (training provided).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is required or encouraged.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support meals, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the care team.
• Document care accurately and timely in the resident's records.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines at all times.
• Communicate compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
