Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living in Marietta, GA is seeking a dedicated Personal Service Assistant to provide direct care to our senior residents in a skilled nursing setting. This full-time role focuses on compassionate daily support and maintaining residents' dignity.

You will assist with grooming, bathing, meals, mobility, and daily activities, document care, and collaborate with nursing staff. The position offers competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to senior residents, including grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, mental, or emotional status to the nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Participate in recreational activities with residents and assist with transportation to and from appointments or outings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and coworkers.

The Claiborne at West Cobb, a Claiborne Senior Living community, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Personal Service Assistant. The PSA will be responsible for providing direct care and support to our senior residents in a skilled nursing environment at our Marietta, Georgia location.
