Capstone Search Group is assisting an independent insurance agency in the Mid-Atlantic region by recruiting an experienced Personal Lines Supervisor, Team Leader. You will oversee the personal lines group, optimize service workflows, support client retention, and guide daily operations to drive growth.

This role focuses on people development—recruiting, onboarding, training, and continuous coaching—while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Independent agency experience is required with deep knowledge of personal lines programs, products, markets, and service processes.
• Prior supervisory/management experience is required.
• State insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the personal lines group and optimize service workflows to support client retention and growth.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated service issues within the agency management system.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance coaching for employees.
• Liaise with other departments, report updates to executives on team goals and performance.

About the Role

Duties & Responsibilities

A multi-faceted role, you are involved with daily operations and broader strategies to help the personal lines division grow.

• Support teams with workflow management including areas like renewals, new account onboarding, and escalated service issues.related to daily service initiatives
• Troubleshootissues in the agency management system
• Participate in recruiting and hiring as well as new employee training, continuing education, career pathing, and overall employee performance standards
• Liaise with other agency departments, sharing best practices and working on joint initiatives. Report updates to executives on team goals and performance.

Skills & Experience

1. Independent agency experience is required with deep knowledge of personal lines programs, products, markets, and service processes.
2. Prior supervisory/management experience is required.
3. State insurance license.
