Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Illinois (Chicagoland area) is seeking a Marketing Representative in our Personal Lines Marketing department to drive profitable premium growth by engaging and supporting independent agents. Responsibilities include directing regional marketing plans, developing agency relationships, and working with underwriting to improve profitability, with monthly overnight travel.

A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of personal lines experience are preferred; annual bonus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Three or more years of personal lines insurance experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Direct regional marketing plans to achieve agency goals.
Develop agency relationships to maintain and drive profitability.
Review territory to drive new, profitable business growth.
Understand and leverage agency opportunities and performance objectives.
Assist with training and onboarding of new agents and customer support representatives.
Work with underwriting to address agency issues including profitability and retention.
Develop working relationships with Cincinnati Insurance associates to enhance servicing of personal lines.
Oversee agency management activities including reviews and new business assessments.
Travel overnights on a monthly basis.
