Job summary

Morgan Insurance Services in Ocala, FL is hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to support licensed agents in person at the Honda of Ocala location. This in‑person role handles calls, emails, and texts, processes renewals, and assists with policy updates.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in personal lines insurance, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED was required.
• Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn and navigate various software systems.
• Experience working in insurance customer support.

Responsibilities

• Check voicemails, texts, faxes, emails and route to team.
• Answer incoming service line calls and transfer to agents.
• Handle client contact information, billing, claims, and general questions.
• Process returned mail and follow up with customers.
• Reach out to customers after claims to offer support.
• Review carrier updates and ensure underwriting requirements are met.
• Perform tasks assigned by management/agents.
• Send welcome letters to new customers and follow-up communications at 30/60/90 days.
• Assist with renewals and rewrites as needed.
• Send birthday e-cards to customers.
• Cross-sell additional insurance products.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Adhere to company procedures and policies.
• This is an in‑person position.
• Other duties as assigned.
