Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Data Consultant to join our team in Worcester, MA or Howell, MI. This full-time exempt role focuses on analytics development, data modeling, and creating tools to support agent partners and customers.

You will analyze data, build reports, and present insights to internal teams, while coordinating with multiple departments to drive business growth and efficiency. Strong Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of related analytical experience required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Property and Casualty industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and solid knowledge of SQL with large data sets.
• Ability to summarize complex concepts in written and oral form using PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support analytics projects and develop tools to optimize agent partner business.
• Lead projects or contribute to large-scale initiatives with limited supervision.
• Translate requirements into analytical reporting and models.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal partners and senior leaders to communicate insights.
