Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, MA or Howell, MI is seeking a Data Consultant to join its Personal Lines State Management team. You will apply analytics to develop and enhance proprietary tools that support agent partners and customers, driving growth and strategic differentiation.

You will lead data analysis projects, create reports, translate requirements into actionable insights, and present findings to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years of related analytical experience.
• 1–2 years of Property & Casualty industry experience.
• Comprehends key industry financial/operational metrics.
• Experience with Independent Agent Channel a plus.
• Demonstrated data analysis and problem solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and SQL; ability to turn data into information.

Responsibilities

• Support complex business/technical processes and tools for multiple products.
• Provide data analytics and project management for large scopes.
• Translate requirements into analytical reporting; evolve models to meet business needs.
• Develop detailed reports to support strategic business initiatives.
• Present findings to senior leaders and internal partners.
• Lead or participate in prototypes and new tool development.
