Job summary

Gans & Smith Insurance Agency, Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to manage renewals, policy servicing, and client relationships for profitable growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include renewal proposals, carrier data management, and timely policy processing, while maintaining AMS360 records and identifying cross-sell opportunities. Training is available; prior Personal Lines experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• AMS360 or other agency management systems experience is a plus.
• Active P&C license preferred, but not required—training available.
• Personal Lines experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Market renewal business and prepare proposals for clients.
• Maintain carrier information and expiration log to stay ahead of renewals.
• Process renewal policies for accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
• Handle client and carrier inquiries; refer to producer/manager when needed.
• Maintain AMS360 suspense system for orders, correspondence, reports, and overdue items.
• Process policy cancellations and Lost Policy Release submissions.
• Keep files (electronic/paper) orderly and up-to-date in AMS360.
• Log cross-sell/upsell opportunities during renewal conversations.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and regulations.

Join Gans & Smith Insurance Agency as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, where you will manage renewals, policy servicing, and client relationships to ensure profitable growth, account retention, and long-term client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Market renewal business, determine premiums, and prepare and present proposals to clients
• Maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier, and manage the expiration control log to stay ahead of upcoming renewals
• Process renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages, and signatures, and ensure timely delivery to the client
• Receive phone calls from clients and carriers regarding insurance, claims, or administrative issues, resolving directly or referring to the producer/agency manager when necessary
• Maintain a suspense system in AMS360 to track outstanding orders, correspondence, reports, and overdue items
• Process policy cancellations, including Lost Policy Release handling and carrier submission
• Maintain electronic and/or paper files in AMS360 in an orderly, up-to-date manner
• Identify and log cross-sell/upsell opportunities during renewal conversations
• Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulations

Qualifications: The company is willing to train the right candidate.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience with AMS360 or other agency management systems is a plus,
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Active P&C insurance license preferred, but not required — willing to train the right candidate
