Job summary

001 Brown & Brown, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Personal Lines Client Account Manager to service a book of business, identify exposures, and provide insurance solutions as an advisor to clients.

You will write new business, service renewals, and assist insureds with all service needs while maintaining client relationships and pursuing referrals. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and knowledge of agency management systems.
  • Excellent telephone demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial-related discipline preferred.
  • Insurance Designation (CPRIA, CISR, CIC, ARM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Write all new business policies.
  • Maintain and service renewal policies.
  • Assist insureds with service needs (questions, changes, cancellations).
  • Identify competitive carriers for remarketing existing business.
  • Account round existing clients and cross-sell other departments.
  • Ensure all quotes are accurate and complete before proposal.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to identify changing needs.
  • Actively seek new business referrals from current clients and networks.
  • Documentation control (scanned, paper, electronic, verbal).
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Compliance standards for the department.

Our Grand Rapids team is seeking a Personal Lines Client Account Manager. This role services an assigned book of business by working with those clients to identify exposures, provide the best insurance solutions available, and serve as their insurance advisor.

How You Will Contribute
  • Write all new business policies

  • Responsible for documentation control (scanned, paper, electronic, verbal, etc)
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Compliance standards for department

Required
  • High School diploma or GED
