Job summary

Tcgrecruit is assisting a growing independent insurance agency in recruiting an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager. The role focuses on servicing an established personal lines book of business with emphasis on client communication and accuracy.

Responsibilities include managing policies, renewals, and endorsements, while working closely with producers on cross-selling and maintaining detailed client records in the agency management system.

Qualifications

• Experience in an independent insurance agency preferred.
• Strong personal lines insurance experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through independently.
• Familiarity with carrier websites and rating systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an existing book of personal lines accounts (home, auto, umbrella, rental properties).
• Handle policy changes, endorsements, billing questions, and documentation updates.
• Review renewals and identify accounts needing attention or follow-up.
• Remarket accounts and communicate with carriers/underwriters.
• Explain coverage and options clearly to clients.
• Maintain regular client contact by phone, email, and text.
• Identify coverage gaps and opportunities for additional products.
• Collaborate with producers on cross-selling and account development.
• Assist with certificates, endorsements, and servicing of small commercial accounts.
• Maintain accurate client/policy information in the agency system.
• Take ownership of client issues and see issues through to resolution.
• Provide high-level personal service with strong organization and attention to detail.
