Job summary

The Carlisle Group (TCG) is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager for our client, an established independent insurance agency in Dutchess County, NY. You will manage a book of personal lines, build strong client relationships, and provide responsive service to clients and carrier partners.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in personal lines, solid knowledge of products and coverage, and the ability to own multiple accounts. NY Active Property & Casualty license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal lines insurance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products and terminology.
• Experience with an independent insurance agency preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and own assigned accounts.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of personal lines accounts.
• Handle policy changes, renewals, endorsements, certificates, billing questions, and other client requests.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
• Review policies and coverage to identify gaps or additional needs.
• Prepare renewal information and assist with remarketing when appropriate.
• Communicate with carriers regarding underwriting, coverage, and policy issues.
• Assist clients with claims-related questions and coordinate with carriers when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the agency management system.
• Provide a high level of service while managing multiple accounts and priorities.
