Job summary

The Misch Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to provide full support for our Personal Lines Department, specializing in Property & Casualty insurance and maintaining high client retention. This role involves exposure to all aspects of the department with diverse daily responsibilities.

As a key team member, you will influence the client experience by delivering exceptional service, coordinating with principals, producers, and staff, and handling policy orders,

Qualifications

• P&C license required.
• Experience working for an independent insurance agency.
• Experience servicing/quoting/marketing personal lines with multiple carriers, and wholesalers.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager.
• Must also have experience with Commercial Lines.

Responsibilities

• Work with Agency Principal, Producers, and Team Members.
• Order policies and issue documentation, certificates, and binders as needed.
• Prepare account renewal submissions for marketing and proposals to obtain competitive coverage/cost ratios for clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients by developing and maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
• Bind coverage for new clients.
