Cross Insurance is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager for our Portland, ME office. You will provide quality service to assigned personal insurance accounts, review coverage, develop client relationships, and contribute to department goals.

The role requires a producer’s license and experience with personal lines, agency management systems, and Excel/Word. Hybrid remote options exist with a base salary in the $55,000–$65,000 range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing personal accounts within an insurance agency.
• Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze personal accounts for coverage and limits, and make recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure service needs are met.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads to meet production goals.
• Gather information from clients and prepare applications for new or renewal coverage.
• Prepare policy quotes based on client’s needs, rates and coverages.
• Prepare all transactions for assigned accounts (applications, invoices, forms).
• Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system.
• May handle premium collections.
• Keep informed of industry changes to support profit objectives.
