Walter May Insurance in Hingham, MA is hiring a Personal Lines Account Manager to join a busy, team-oriented office partnered with AEBetancourt. The role centers on servicing a large client book, quoting, endorsements, and proactive renewals.

You will handle a diverse client base from first-time homebuyers to high-net-worth households, using Applied Epic and collaborating with carriers and teammates. A hybrid schedule follows initial six months.

Competenze

• Experience in insurance customer service, account management, or CSR handling home, auto, and umbrella policies.
• Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, and multi-tasking with a client-first mindset.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Inherit an established personal lines book of approximately 1,000 to 1,300 clients and make it your own. You will advise a diverse client base, from first-time homebuyers to high-net-worth households, as the trusted advisor they call first.

• Own the client relationship: Service your book, answer coverage questions, process policy changes and endorsements, and deliver a smooth, proactive renewal experience.
• Protect and grow every account: Review policies and exposures, identify coverage gaps and cross-selling opportunities, and prepare quotes, proposals, and comparisons that help clients decide with confidence.
• Communicate with confidence: Partner with clients, carriers, underwriters, and teammates by phone, email, and in person, using Applied Epic to keep every account organized.

WHAT HELPS YOU THRIVE HERE

• Personal lines know-how: Experience in insurance customer service, account management, or as a CSR handling home, auto, and umbrella policies.
• Agency system skills: Comfort with Applied Epic or a similar agency management system will help you hit the ground running.
• Licensing: An active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license.
• Your strengths: Strong organization, time management, communication, and multi-tasking skills, plus a client-first, proactive mindset and an eye for detail.
