Job summary

Capitol Federal Savings Bank seeks a Personal Lines Account Executive in Overland Park, KS. The role manages a large house account book of personal lines and partners with Account Managers to drive renewals, coverage reviews, and growth.

Responsibilities include proactive client conversations, coverage gap identification, and maintaining strong carrier relationships while ensuring compliance and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Must obtain Kansas/Missouri Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
• 3+ years of Personal Lines experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of auto, homeowners, umbrella, and related lines.
• Experience managing a large book of business.
• Strong communication, organization, and client relationships.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• CISR/CIC or other designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large house account book of personal lines clients as the primary contact.
• Lead renewal strategy and proactive coverage reviews for assigned accounts.
• Conduct consultative conversations to identify coverage gaps and recommendations.
• Drive retention and growth through coverage enhancements and cross-selling.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure accurate renewals and policy changes.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and underwriters.
• Document client interactions and decisions per compliance standards.
• Escalate complex coverage or client concerns to the Senior Account Executive when appropriate.
