Job summary

Liberty FCU is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer for its Direct Lending Contact Center in Evansville, IN. The role focuses on identifying member lending needs and delivering personalized loan solutions with professionalism and a member-first approach.

Responsibilities include processing applications, achieving lending and sales goals, presenting loan protection products, and referring opportunities across departments. Some evenings/Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years sales experience or prior experience at a financial institution preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide consumer loan applicants with friendly, professional service tailored to their financial goals.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing loan applicants, acting as their personal lender.
• Meet or exceed lending and sales goals and present loan protection products.
• Process loan applications from start to finish, review credit reports, and close loans.
• Identify additional loan opportunities and refer to other departments when appropriate.
• Maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude and participate in outbound campaigns.
