Job summary

Liberty FCU in Evansville, IN seeks a Manager of Consumer Lending Direct Sales with proven sales leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to grow lending volume through the direct sales channel.

You will hire, train, and coach a high-performing team, set weekly goals, monitor progress, and implement action plans to meet monthly and annual targets while maintaining excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of previous Lending experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role running a sales channel.
• Experience with CRM and LOS system preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet sales objectives in a fast paced and professional environment.
• Determine customers' eligibility and acceptability of loan risk based on income, debt, employment history and other credit data required for loan approval.

Responsibilities

• Meet growth objectives and lending volume through the sales channel.
• Hire, train, and mentor a highly professional sales team.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training reinforcement to team members to promote continuous learning and high performance.
• Develop and track goals for individual lenders, monitor productivity, and take steps to achieve sales goals while maintaining member satisfaction.
• Mentor lenders to meet established sales goals with monthly one-on-one meetings and action plans.
• Ensure professional and effective communication with members and contacts, including observing calls and reviewing recordings to maintain call quality standards.
• Coordinate sales meetings to discuss goals, new developments, or services; set weekly sales goals and develop engaging contests.
• Forecast monthly/annual sales volumes and develop strategies for achieving goals using tools to track progress.
• Process and analyze loan requests: take applications, gather documentation, and make product recommendations to meet member needs.
• Maintain knowledge of all consumer lending products and support staff in resolving member issues.
