Job summary
Liberty FCU seeks a Mortgage Loan Originator for the Downtown Office in Evansville, IN. You will conduct loan interviews, present programs, collect documents, and guide applicants through the mortgage process.
Responsibilities include evaluating borrower credit, cross-selling credit union products, maintaining knowledge of mortgage products (purchase money, refinances, HELOCs, VA/USDA/FHA), and building relationships with realtors. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.
Qualifications
- Interview borrowers and discuss loan options.
- Evaluate credit and financial status for mortgage sales.
- Cross-sell credit union products and services.
- Develop relationships with realtors and referral partners.
- Attend purchase loan closings and assist during processing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct loan interviews, discuss programs, collect documentation.
- Evaluate borrower credit and financial status for residential mortgages.
- Sell mortgage products and cross-sell CU services.
- Make outbound calls to generate loan activity.
- Maintain knowledge of loan products and underwriting guidelines.
- Develop realtor relationships and support closings.
