Job summary

Bell Bank in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor to drive profitable growth by prospecting, quoting and selling new Property/Casualty and Benefits accounts, while meeting personal sales goals and working with Agency Account Managers. You will develop new business from referrals, manage existing client relationships, review coverages annually, and coordinate with carriers.

A valid insurance license and sales experience are preferred; EPIC proficiency and strong communication

Qualifications

Insurance license required or in good standing.
Experience in insurance sales is preferred.
Commitment to ongoing education in insurance and related industries.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex issues.
Proficiency with the EPIC system.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ethics, integrity and honesty are essential.

Responsibilities

Prospect, solicit, quote and sell new Property/Casualty and/or Benefits accounts to meet sales goals.
Develop and maintain a book of business through renewals and new business.
Educate clients on policy coverage, pricing, and carrier requirements.
Coordinate with Account Managers to service clients and manage risk.
Enter new sales data and client information into EPIC per agency procedures.
Build relationships with carriers, underwriters, and insureds for effective risk management.
