Job summary

Thompson Law in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Litigation Attorney to own a personal injury docket and advance cases from filing through trial. You will work with senior trial lawyers, manage discovery, take depositions, and advocate for clients in court and at mediations.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of litigation experience, a Texas license in good standing, and strong written and oral advocacy skills. This is an on-site, full-time role with partnership growth potential.

Qualifications

• Texas license to practice law in good standing.
• 3–8 years of legal experience with active litigation work.
• Strong command of Texas civil procedure and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury litigation docket from filing to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions; handle depositions of parties and experts.
• Develop liability, damages, and case strategies with senior trial attorneys.
• Represent clients in motions, hearings, mediation, and trials.
• Coordinate with paralegals and support staff to keep files ready for trial.
• Advise clients on strategy, progress, and settlement decisions.
