Thompson Law is seeking a Litigation Attorney in Dallas to take ownership of a personal injury docket, working alongside senior trial lawyers in a mentorship setting.

You will manage filings, take depositions, argue motions, and strive for trial readiness while handling settlement strategies and client communication. A Texas license and 3–8 years' experience are required, with strong advocacy in personal injury litigation preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• 3–8 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years of active litigation.
• Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a robust docket and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Own a personal injury docket in litigation and move files toward settlement or trial.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions; depose witnesses and experts.
• Collaborate with medical records specialists and staff to build damages models.
• Try cases as second-chair or first-chair and participate in mediations.
• Value cases, prepare demand packages, and negotiate with adjusters and defense counsel.
