Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced attorney to join its personal injury team in Lexington, KY. This role requires an active Kentucky Bar license, strong courtroom experience, and a commitment to client service as you represent clients across Kentucky.

The ideal candidate handles litigation from inception to verdict, drafts and files pleadings, conducts depositions, and manages mediations and trials with support from paralegals and staff.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Bar in good standing.
• Ideally 1+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas, but willing to train.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation.
