Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• First-chair trial experience strongly preferred (5+ jury trials).
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of independent work.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.

Our client is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney in Tampa, FL to join a growing personal injury practice. This attorney will lead cases through litigation, develop trial strategy, advocate for clients, and serve as a key representative in the courtroom. The ideal candidate has significant litigation experience, strong trial skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results for clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution
• Meet with clients, provide case updates, and build trusted client relationships
• Evaluate claims and develop litigation strategies
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court proceedings
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure cases remain organized and progress efficiently

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• 6+ years of litigation experience
• First-chair trial experience strongly preferred (5+ jury trials preferred)
• Strong case evaluation and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
• Salary ranging from $130,000 - $170,000
