The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking a Settlement Negotiator to join our Personal Injury Department in Los Angeles. The role focuses on managing and negotiating settlements before litigation, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills to maximize client outcomes.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year PI experience, proficiency with Excel and case management software, and a track record in handling bodily injury claims with auto insurers.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of legal experience, specifically in Personal Injury.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel and managing complex spreadsheets.
• 1+ years of office experience.

Mansioni

• Review case facts, medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
• Assess strengths/weaknesses to determine settlement strategy.
• Engage with insurance companies, opposing counsel, or other parties to negotiate settlements.
• Present evidence and arguments to justify compensation for the client.
• Resolve issues related to the settlement agreement and counter offers.
• Ensure settlements cover medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.
