Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Pre‑Suit Attorney in Lexington, KY to manage pre‑litigation work, guide clients, and oversee settlement negotiations in personal injury cases, primarily premises liability.

The attorney will lead a team of 6–10 Case Managers, drive compliance and KPIs, and perform EUOs and recorded statements as part of the pre-litigation phase.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active KY State Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume pre-litigation caseload.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Draft and file pre‑litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Lead a team of 6–10 Case Managers.
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily premises liability.
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
• Conduct EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the KY State Bar Association.
• 2+ years of personal injury experience.
