Malman Law seeks a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Associate in Chicago, IL. The role handles pre-litigation management, client intake, case development, and settlement negotiations with a focus on efficient resolution for injured clients.

Requirements include a J.D. from an accredited law school and Illinois licensure, 3–5 years of personal injury experience, and proficiency in case management tools. The position is full-time and on-site with competitive compensation and benefits.

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in Illinois or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in personal injury law preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Client-centered approach with professionalism and empathy.

Responsabilidades

• Manage assigned personal injury cases through the pre-litigation stage.
• Conduct client intake interviews and maintain ongoing communication throughout the case lifecycle.
• Review medical records, bills, police reports, and other case-related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and experts.
• Draft and submit settlement demands and supporting documentation.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Track treatment progress and damages to support case valuation.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet all internal deadlines.
• Collaborate with litigation attorneys to transition cases when litigation is required.
• Participate in team meetings and case strategy discussions.
