Please note this role can be remote anywhere in Arizona as long as you have relevant experience handling Arizona-based Personal Injury Law cases

The Role:

Torticity is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager with exposure to pre-litigation auto-injury cases. In this role, the Personal Injury Case Manager will be responsible for managing a docket of personal injury files for the state of Arizona. They will work on a high volume of pre-litigation cases from end-to-end post intake including extensive plaintiff contact, investigations, and settlement negotiations with the insurance adjusters.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

1. Proactively own and manage robust caseload effectively to meet internal stakeholder and external partner deadlines
2. Managing claimant relationship as the primary point of contact during the pre-litigation phase
3. Being open to, providing feedback on and making suggestions for process improvements
4. Acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers prior to the commencement of litigation
5. Negotiating with claims adjusters
6. Obtaining information & documentation necessary to evaluate bodily injury claims
7. Creating and maintaining an internal database
8. Requesting medical and billing records
9. Preparing settlement demand packages
10. Reviewing files with supervising manager, paralegals, and attorneys

Experience:

1. At least 4 years of personal injury case management or paralegal experience with a large Personal Injury law firm with solid experience handling personal injury cases originating in Arizona
2. Experience handling pre-litigation cases from inception post-intake through settlement
3. Maintain a confidential, HIPAA-compliant environment
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
6. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with confidential and sensitive information
7. Acute attention to detail
8. Must be available to travel on occasion and come into the office (if local in South Florida)
9. Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus
10. Bachelor's Degree preferred
