Vaco Arizona is hiring a Remote Litigation Attorney (Arizona-based preferred)
Pay Rate: $75 - $90/hour
Location: Fully Remote (Must reside in Arizona or be willing to work Arizona hours)
Are you a seasoned Litigation Attorney with class action experience and a passion for complex casework? Vaco Arizona has an exciting contract opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional to join a collaborative and fast-paced in-house litigation team. This is a fully remote role, but candidates based in Arizona are highly encouraged to apply due to local compliance and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Support ongoing litigation efforts by reviewing and analyzing legal documents using advanced eDiscovery platforms like Relativity and/or Exterro.
Evaluate document sets for responsiveness, privilege, and confidentiality; apply tagging and categorization protocols accordingly.
Assist in drafting timelines, privilege logs, and concise summaries of critical documents.
Conduct focused legal research and prepare memoranda when necessary.
Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements and professional conduct throughout all phases of the review process.
Collaborate regularly with internal litigation staff to streamline discovery workflows and ensure high-quality output.
Qualifications & Experience:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited institution.
Active and good-standing admission to a U.S. State Bar.
At least 5 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on discovery, document review, and privilege evaluation.
Prior involvement in class action lawsuits is a must.
Skilled in using Relativity; familiarity with Exterro is a bonus.
Solid knowledge of privilege/confidentiality standards and experience creating privilege logs.
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Prior exposure to securities, antitrust, and class action matters is highly desirable.
Comfortable using platforms like Westlaw, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and I-Manage.
