Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Plaintiff Paralegal in Cranberry Township, PA to manage a substantial caseload from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate will excel with a high-volume practice, organize medical records, draft settlement and litigation documents, and work with AI-assisted review tools.

The role requires 5+ years plaintiff-side PI paralegal experience, proficiency with Clio and MS Office, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal experience.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury claims, medical records, treatment documentation, and settlement processes.
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with Clio or other legal case management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other legal technologies.
• Comfortable learning and utilizing emerging technologies, including AI tools for medical record review and document drafting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 50–70 personal injury matters simultaneously.
• Handle cases from intake through settlement and resolution with minimal oversight.
• Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records and supporting documentation.
• Draft correspondence, medical summaries, settlement packages, demand letters, and litigation documents.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, lienholders, and other parties involved in claims.
• Track case deadlines, treatment updates, and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with litigation matters, including discovery responses, court filings, and trial preparation.
• Work within various medical record and lien portals to obtain and manage case information.
• Maintain accurate electronic case files and detailed case records.
• Utilize case management software and technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff while adapting to established office procedures and systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled paralegal who can independently manage a substantial caseload, navigate the complexities of personal injury matters, and serve as a key resource to the attorney and legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive plaintiff personal injury experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take ownership of files from intake through resolution with minimal supervision. Candidates should be comfortable working in a technology-driven environment and interested in emerging legal technologies, including AI-assisted document and medical record review.
