Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Plaintiff Paralegal in Cranberry Township, PA to manage a substantial caseload from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate will excel with a high-volume practice, organize medical records, draft settlement and litigation documents, and work with AI-assisted review tools.

The role requires 5+ years plaintiff-side PI paralegal experience, proficiency with Clio and MS Office, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal experience.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury claims, medical records, treatment documentation, and settlement processes.
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with Clio or other legal case management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other legal technologies.
• Comfortable learning and utilizing emerging technologies, including AI tools for medical record review and document drafting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 50–70 personal injury matters simultaneously.
• Handle cases from intake through settlement and resolution with minimal oversight.
• Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records and supporting documentation.
• Draft correspondence, medical summaries, settlement packages, demand letters, and litigation documents.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, lienholders, and other parties involved in claims.
• Track case deadlines, treatment updates, and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with litigation matters, including discovery responses, court filings, and trial preparation.
• Work within various medical record and lien portals to obtain and manage case information.
• Maintain accurate electronic case files and detailed case records.
• Utilize case management software and technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff while adapting to established office procedures and systems.
