Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal in Chicago, IL, for an on-site role supporting trial attorneys in plaintiff-side civil litigation. The paralegal will manage files from preparation to resolution, draft discovery, review medical records, and assist with trial materials and case prep.

The ideal candidate holds an ABA-approved paralegal certificate, has 2+ years of plaintiff-side experience, and exhibits strong organizational and client-communication skills.

Qualifications

• ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
• 2+ years of plaintiff-side civil litigation paralegal experience.
• Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with discovery, medical records, and litigation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side personal injury litigation files from case preparation through resolution.
• Draft discovery documents, interrogatories, requests for production, and litigation correspondence.
• Review, summarize, and chronologize medical records.
• Assist attorneys with mediation materials, trial exhibits, and case preparation.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.
• Track deadlines and coordinate with attorneys and support staff.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Location

Compensation: $50,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience.

Note

Applicants must have an ABA-approved paralegal certificate and at least 2 years of plaintiff-side civil litigation paralegal experience. Personal injury litigation experience is strongly preferred.
