Job summary

NPAworldwide is partnering with a rapidly growing national law firm in Chicago to recruit a Litigation Attorney. The attorney will manage personal injury cases from filing to resolution, conduct investigations, draft and file key litigation documents, and collaborate with seasoned attorneys to execute case strategy.

The role also emphasizes client communication and ongoing professional development. Ideal candidates have at least 3 civil jury trials to verdict, strong research and writing skills,

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 3+ years of personal injury experience with a focus on trial work.
• Minimum of 3 civil jury trials to verdict.
• Strong knowledge of state laws, regulations and legal procedures in personal injury litigation.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to apply legal authority effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for drafting and reviewing legal documents, motions and correspondence.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution.
• Conduct case investigations to establish liability and assess damages.
• Draft, file and argue litigation documents including discovery motions and oppositions to summary judgment.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategy and maintain client communications.
• Guide clients through each stage of litigation and manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Gain hands-on experience handling complex and high-value litigation matters.
• Continue professional growth through mentorship and ongoing opportunities.
