Herrman & Herrman, PLLC is seeking an Intermediate Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join our South Texas team (Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Brownsville, McAllen, Houston, Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas).

The ideal candidate is licensed in Texas, a graduate of an accredited law school, and a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas. Strong negotiation, writing and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited law school.
• 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.
• Ability to move cases forward independently and litigate to trial when necessary.
• Strong written, verbal and analytical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage docket of personal injury cases.
• File lawsuits and draft/answer discovery.
• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, hearings and trials.
• Evaluate claims with claims representatives.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff to propound discovery, coordinate depositions, and prep for trials.
