Job summary

Herrman & Herrman, PLLC is seeking an Intermediate Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join our South Texas practice (Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Brownsville, McAllen, Houston, Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas). The ideal candidate will advocate for clients while delivering outstanding service and will independently manage cases as needed.

The role requires Texas bar admission, graduation from an accredited law school, and strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing.
• Graduated from an accredited law school.
• Experience in personal injury litigation is preferred; capable of trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the docket of personal injury cases.
• File lawsuits on behalf of clients.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials.
• Evaluate claims with claims representatives; coordinate with team to move cases forward.

Intermediate Litigation Attorney

We seek an Intermediate Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join our growing firm in South Texas (Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Brownsville, McAllen, Houston, Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas). A qualified associate must possess the ability to provide legal representation to advocate for our clients while delivering outstanding client service skills.

Qualifications

The candidate must be licensed to practice in Texas, have graduated from an accredited law school, and be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.

The ideal candidate must communicate effectively and possess excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills. The candidate must be self-motivated with strong negotiating skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Although the candidate will receive support and assistance, they must have the knowledge and experience to manage and move pending cases forward independently. The candidate will also be expected to litigate claims and take them to trial when necessary. They preferably have one to three years of personal injury litigation experience with strong litigation skills, including discovery, conducting depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation background.

Job Responsibilities

• Working in a team environment with paralegals and legal secretaries to propound written discovery requests and responses, order and summarize records, coordinate depositions, obtain experts and prepare for depositions and trials.
