The Edward Law Group in Texas is seeking a litigation attorney to manage a personal injury caseload from filing through resolution. The role emphasizes strong litigation skills, case strategy, and effective advocacy in negotiations, hearings, and trial.

You will draft pleadings, take and defend depositions, participate in hearings, mediations, and trials, and communicate regularly with clients while coordinating with paralegals and staff to meet court deadlines and deliver positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules.
• Trial experience or strong desire to try cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage a docket of personal injury litigation cases from inception through trial.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Develop case strategy, including liability and damages analysis.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and expectations.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules.
