Job summary

Orion Placement in Wilmington, Delaware seeks a plaintiff-side litigation attorney to manage a personal injury caseload with mentorship from senior partners. The role emphasizes trial readiness, compassionate client service, and advocacy for individuals facing life-changing injuries.

You will handle all phases of litigation, collaborate with a seasoned team, and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency. Hybrid work with three in-office days, strong benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware Bar license or eligible for admission.
• At least 1 year of litigation experience.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Comfortable managing cases independently while collaborating with a team.
• Interest in plaintiff litigation and trial work.
• Open to learning and utilizing AI-driven legal technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury litigation caseload with mentorship and support from senior attorneys.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Serve as first or second chair at hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials based on experience.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, opposing counsel, insurance representatives, and experts.
• Collaborate closely with an experienced litigation support team.
• Utilize advanced AI tools and legal technology to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional client service while advocating for individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries and significant losses.

Location:

Hybrid opportunity based in Wilmington, Delaware, with a minimum of three days per week in the office, offering flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration.

Note:

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Delaware (or eligible for admission) and have at least one year of litigation experience. Personal injury experience is welcomed but not required—we're looking for attorneys with strong litigation skills, outstanding character, a willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for leveraging AI in legal practice.
