Responsibilities

• Handle personal injury litigation matters from intake through resolution or trial
• Manage all phases of discovery (drafting and responding to written discovery)
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue motions and court appearances
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
• Work with medical experts on causation and damages
• Communicate with clients throughout the case lifecycle
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial

Requirements

• Experience in civil litigation (personal injury preferred)
• Strong knowledge of litigation process and procedures
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice
• Ability to independently manage a caseload
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Experience

• Plaintiff personal injury (auto, trucking, premises liability, catastrophic injury)
• Trial exposure or trial preparation experience
• Medical malpractice or complex injury litigation experience
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
