Confidential Employer in Delray Beach, FL, seeks a litigation attorney with 3+ years of personal injury and/or insurance defense experience to manage cases from development to resolution. You will draft pleadings, take depositions, participate in mediations, hearings, and settlements, and help shape litigation strategy with experienced trial attorneys.

Active Florida Bar license required; strong writing, research, negotiation, and client communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license.
• 3+ years of personal injury and/or insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Ability to independently manage litigation responsibilities and deadlines.
• Excellent client communication and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury and related litigation matters from case development through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, demands, discovery, and other substantive legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Analyze medical records, liability issues, damages, and litigation strategy.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, responsive legal guidance throughout their cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, experts, and support staff to develop strong case strategies.
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in courtroom proceedings based on experience.
• Help identify opportunities to grow client relationships and generate new matters.

Location:

Delray Beach, Florida. This position is primarily on-site, allowing you to work closely with our attorneys, staff, and clients. Hybrid flexibility may be discussed for the right candidate.

Note:

Candidates must be active members of the Florida Bar and have 3+ years of personal injury and/or insurance defense litigation experience. Trial experience is preferred. We also prefer candidates who can provide a practical writing sample, such as a pleading or demand, with their resume.
