Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an experienced personal injury attorney in Port Charlotte, FL. Represent clients from evaluation through resolution and manage an assigned caseload with direct client contact.

Must have an active Florida Bar license and 1+ year of personal injury experience. This on-site role offers a competitive salary of $100,000 to $150,000 per year plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ year of personal injury law experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Port Charlotte, FL.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from case evaluation through resolution.
• Manage and advance an assigned caseload while keeping cases organized and moving forward.
• Evaluate liability, damages, medical records, insurance coverage, and overall case value.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other involved parties.
• Draft pleadings, demands, correspondence, discovery, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Negotiate claims and settlements while protecting clients' interests.
• Prepare cases for litigation, hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial as appropriate.
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff to provide responsive, high-quality client service.
