Job summary

Thomas J. Henry Law seeks a Learning & Development Attorney to design, develop, and deliver training for attorneys, paralegals, and staff. The role blends personal injury litigation expertise with instructional design to strengthen legal skills, client service, and firm performance.

Reporting to the Chief Learning Officer, you will collaborate with firm leadership to ensure practical, legally accurate programs aligned with strategic goals, across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.

Qualifications

• JD required and active Texas law license.
• 5+ years of experience in personal injury litigation or legal training.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation and trial preparation.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs for legal professionals.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Experience with LMS platforms and legal tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement attorney and staff learning and development programs.
• Design onboarding, CLE, professional development, and leadership training initiatives.
• Create curriculum focused on personal injury litigation, case management, client advocacy, negotiations, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Develop innovative learning experiences, including workshops, simulations, mock trials, coaching, and e-learning.
• Ensure training content reflects current Texas personal injury law and best practices.
• Coordinate CLE-accredited training programs and measure program effectiveness.
