THOMAS seeks a Paralegal Trainer in San Antonio, TX to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for paralegals in a high-volume personal injury practice. The role requires a seasoned paralegal, ideally board-certified in Personal Injury Trial Law, with strong communication and leadership skills.

You will train staff at all levels, from onboarding to advanced litigation tasks. The position emphasizes developing talent, standardizing best practices, and improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Formal paralegal training from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of personal injury paralegal experience.
• Mastery of pre-litigation and litigation processes.
• Experience training, mentoring, supervising, or coaching legal staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain onboarding and training programs for paralegals.
• Train new hires on firm policies, procedures, and case management systems.
• Deliver hands-on instruction across all paralegal tasks, including discovery and trial prep.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to trainees.
• Create SOPs, manuals, guides, and instructional videos.
• Collaborate with attorneys to align training with firm standards.
• Monitor progress and identify development opportunities.
• Stay current with changes in personal injury law and tech.
