Job summary

Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our busy team in Boca Raton, FL. You will manage a full caseload from intake through settlement in a fast-paced pre-litigation and litigation environment, advocating for injured clients.

The role requires strong knowledge of personal injury law, at least 1 year as a legal assistant and 2+ years as a paralegal in plaintiff firms, with excellent communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a legal assistant at a law firm.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a paralegal at a plaintiff's personal injury law firm (preferred).
• Experience handling auto accident, slip and fall, and/or premises liability claims.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office.
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred, but not required with sufficient relevant experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of personal injury files from intake through settlement.
• Draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and other litigation documents.
• Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Order, organize, and summarize medical records and bills.
• Calculate damages, liens, and prepare settlement statements.
• Maintain case files and deadlines using firm case management software.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibits, and witness coordination.
• Track statutes of limitations and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with out of state counsel on matters around the country.
