Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, slips and falls, and workplace injuries.
• Manage a caseload from intake to resolution, including research, drafting documents, and negotiating settlements.
• Conduct client consultations, explain rights, and guide clients through the legal process.
• Prepare for and represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Develop strategies for case resolution, including settlements and litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, slip and falls, and workplace injuries
• Manage a caseload from intake to resolution, including legal research, drafting documents, and negotiating settlements
• Conduct client consultations, explain legal rights, and provide guidance throughout the legal process
• Prepare for and represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials
• Develop strategies for case resolution, including settlements and litigation
• Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and other team members to ensure case progress
• Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and legal trends

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Florida Bar, in good standing
• This is a full-time Monday through Friday position with part-time and week-end coverage needs
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong customer service skills, including compassion and empathy
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and good judgment
