About Us
Sears Injury Law and Seattle Injury Law are established leaders in personal injury representation throughout the Pacific Northwest. With nine offices across Washington and Oregon, an accomplished team of trial attorneys, and more than $500 million recovered for injured clients, we've built a practice known for exceptional results, personal attention, and a commitment to the communities we serve.
We believe that great attorneys do their best work when they're supported by a great team. Our firm combines the resources and case volume of a large regional practice with a collaborative culture that values individual contributions, professional growth, and work-life balance.
As our Oregon practice continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney who is ready to take ownership of their cases, deliver outstanding results, and play an important role in our continued success.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled Oregon-licensed attorney to represent injured individuals throughout the personal injury claims process, from initial case evaluation through resolution.
Our practice is primarily focused on motor vehicle accidents and related personal injury matters. You'll have the opportunity to manage a substantial caseload, negotiate directly with insurance carriers, develop case strategies, and collaborate with an experienced team of attorneys and legal professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants the resources of an established firm, the independence to manage cases effectively, and the opportunity to make a measurable difference in clients' lives.
What You'll Do
- Case Management & Strategy: Evaluate, develop, and manage personal injury claims, identifying the most effective path toward successful resolution.
- Legal Representation: Represent injured clients throughout the claims process, including investigations, liability analysis, medical record review, demand preparation, and settlement negotiations.
- Insurance Negotiations: Advocate aggressively and professionally on behalf of clients to obtain fair and favorable compensation.
- Oregon Legal Expertise: Apply Oregon personal injury statutes, insurance regulations, procedural requirements, and applicable case law to effectively handle claims.
- Litigation Support & Collaboration: Coordinate with fellow attorneys and litigation staff on matters involving lawsuits, discovery, depositions, mediation, or trial preparation.
- Client Relationships: Maintain consistent, compassionate communication with clients, ensuring they understand their cases and feel supported throughout the process.
- Case Valuation: Analyze medical treatment, economic damages, liability, insurance coverage, and other relevant factors to evaluate claims and develop settlement strategies.
- Team Leadership: Work closely with paralegals, case managers, and legal support professionals to maintain efficient workflows and high standards of representation.
- Professional Standards: Ensure compliance with Oregon legal ethics, court requirements, deadlines, and firm policies.
