Job summary

Orionplacement, a growing plaintiff-focused law firm in the Dallas area, seeks a seasoned trial attorney to lead high-value personal injury cases from filing through resolution.

As first-chair in jury trials, you will develop strategic litigation plans, draft key motions and discovery, and negotiate with carriers, all while delivering exceptional client service within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Proven first-chair jury trial experience.
• Strong understanding of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Experience drafting demands, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Excellent courtroom, negotiation, legal writing, and research skills.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from lawsuit filing through final resolution.
• Serve as first-chair trial attorney in jury trials.
• Develop litigation strategies that maximize client recoveries.
• Draft demands, pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trial.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships while providing exceptional legal representation.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
